March work tables add style, function to kitchen

Food worship is at the heart of March, a Sacramento Street kitchen-hearth-dining-home studio.

The company name, March, is a combination of family and colleagues initials and their studio is a combination of style and function. “I liken the store’s interior to a kitchen laboratory,” said Sam Hamilton, owner of March. “The aesthetic of the redesign was inspired by the large pantry I imported from Ghent, Belgium, three years ago.”

Highlights at March include the well-made worktables and butcher blocks. They anchor today’s industrious kitchen. Available in a range of styles with or without accessories practical for preparing food, the tables are a culinary investment, constructed domestically in conjunction with expert American craftsmen.

“The butcher blocks and worktables are designed to be the centerpiece of a well-used kitchen,” Hamilton said. “Depending on the size, they’re perfect for creating memorable meals or supper service for 12.”
